Algi Hard Floor NM
Dry shake floor hardener and water proofer which is suitable for both dry and wet floors.
Properties: It has 3.5 times abrasion resistance of normal concrete. It produces highly abrasion resistant hard wearing surface, based on non-metallic aggregates which do not corrode. Ideally suited for dry docks, dry floors, heavy machine shops etc. Compressive strength of Algihardfloor NM is 600 kg/cm²
Application Method: 2/3rd of Algihardfloor NM should be applied immediately after initial set and spread evenly with wooden float and the remaining 1/3rd is then broadcast and trowelled to give desired finish with power trowel of weight not less than 60 kg.
Particular attention should be paid to bay edges and corners to ensure full compaction.
Coverage: Light traffic: 3.0 kg per m², Medium traffic: 4.5 kg per m², Heavy traffic: 5.0 kg per m², Extra heavy traffic: 7.0 kg per m².
Algi Hard Floor L-1
For chemical hardening, dust proofing of concrete flooring.
Application Method: ALGIHARDFLOOR L-1 is supplied in liquid form and in ready to use form. This needs to be used straight away after remixing the liquid. Apply ALGIHARDFLOOR L-1 either by brush, roller or spray. The liquid is of very thin 3 consistency. Hence it will penetrate up to a depth of about 1mm. After the first coat has dried apply a second coat. Giving an interval of 6-8 hours between each coat. If plaster is smooth, second coat should be adequate. On rough surface, a third coat is recommended. With average porosity floors 2-3 coats will be sufficient, but with high porosity floors 4-6 coats may be required.
Coverage: 8 to 10 m² per litre, if the surface is rough. It the surface is smooth, the coverage will be 10-12 m² per litre.
Algi Tuff Patch FS
Fast setting concrete patching compound.
Properties: ALGITUFF PATCH FS is a primerless fast setting cement coloured epoxy based patching product for floor repair. ALGITUFF PATCH FS is a heavy duty flooring which can withstand heavy loads in industrial plants, processing area, harbours, food processing industries, airports and workshops. ALGITUFF PATCH FS is also recommend-ed for structural repairs and rehabilitation of damaged buildings and in areas where exceptionally high impact resistance is needed.
Method of Application: Surface Preparation: The concrete surface should be free of loose particles, dust, oil, grease or any chemical deposits. Cleaning the surface with wire brush is recommended before laying ALGITUFF PATCH FS. Mixing ratio of ALGITUFF PATCH FS Resin: Hardener: Filler by weight is 2:1:10. Resin and Hardener should be mixed in the proportion of 2:1 in a plastic container. A slow speed drill fitted with a paddle can be used for mixing. Part C(filler) shall be added slowly to obtain a consistent mortar. The mortar prepared should be used within 50 minutes. The repaired flooring can be used within 1 to 1.5 hours.
Coverage: ALGITUFF PATCH FS gives 1.1 Ft²/kg for3mm thickness.
Algi Coat EPX 132
Epoxy based coloured waterproofing coating
Properties: It can be used in waterproofing of RCC slabs, water tanks, aquaducts etc. It is suitable for walls and ceilings to provide easily cleanable surface.
Application: After surface preparation, mix ALGICOAT EPX 132 Part A&B in the ratio of 1:0.84 by weight or 1:1.25 by volume and apply over clean and dry surface by using a brush. Apply the second coat when the first coat is tack free and finish with a roller.
Coverage: On a smooth concrete surface ALGICOAT EPX 132 will give coverage of 25-30 ft²/kg for two coat application.
Algi Floor EPX 320
Properties: Solvent free epoxy mortar system for heavy duty flooring which can withstand heavy loads in industrial plants, processing area, harbours, food processing industries, airports and workshops. It is also recommended for structural repairs and rehabilitation of damaged building and in areas where exceptionally high impact resistance is needed.
Application: ALGIFLOOR EPX 320 part A and B should be mixed in the proportion of 2:1 in a plastic container. A slow speed drill fitted with a paddle can be used for mixing. Part C (filler) shall be added slowly to obtain a consistent mortar. The mortar prepared should be used with in 30 minutes.
Coverage: ALGICOAT PRIMER; 40 ft²/kg, ALGIFLOOR EPX 320:1.1 ft²/kg for 3 mm thickness.
