Algi Zinc Koat
Epoxy based zinc rich primer for anti-corrosive coating on steel/MS structures.
Application: Mix base and curing agent is the proportion of 2:1 by volume in a plastic container. Allow it to remain for 5 minutes and apply at 50 microns dry film thickness. For better durability and performance, second coat of ALGIZINC KOAT is recommended when applied on steel structures exposed to severe environment.
Algi Coat Anticorr 210/410
Epoxy coal tar based solvented anti- corrosive coating.
Properties: It is easy to use and is highly economical. It has potlife of 3-4 hours and drying time of 30 minutes and has non sag property. It has good UV stability, resistance to mild chemicals (PH5-10), acid fumes & excellent salt water resistance. It is suitable as anti-corrosive coating for radial gates, penstock pipes in dams, ports, pipe coating, Steel structure, sewer liners etc.
Coverage: 55 Sq.Ft / litre for 2 coats.
Application Method: In the case of metal surface: Clean the metal surface with wire brush. Apply one coat of ALGI ZINC KOAT. After half an hour apply a second coat. Wait for 24 hours. Then mix ALGICOAT ANTICORR 210 resin and Hardner in 1:1 ratio by volume and apply 2 coats. In case of concrete surface: Clean the surface. Apply 2 coats of ALGICOAT ANTICORR 210.Do not apply ALGIZINC KOAT as a primer on concrete surface.
